Welcome to Maitland Church of Christ!
We are friendly people who love to see visitors.
Our church family comes from all walks of life and each person is valued for who they are.
We are blessed to meet in a modern, multifunctional building where the songs and scripture references are projected onto a large screen at the front of the auditorium.
Starting and finishing on time is important to us. The morning service begins at 9.30am and concludes at 11.00am with morning tea. Note: The evening service is changing its format and will be recommencing soon.
God bless you, and may you find the right spiritual home for you and your family.
“Working together with God to:
Bring people to Jesus;
Build people to be like Jesus; and
Send people to tell of Jesus.”
Philosophy of Christian Living
We believe that the Bible provides the only reliable set of absolutes for personal and community standards. It is from the Bible that we discover the foundational principles for meaningful living and relationships.
We believe that through a faith relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour, a person can be freed to live a fulfilled and satisfying life.
We believe that the church’s primary function is to worship corporately the Lord God. The church is to equip the people of God to love Him, serve Him and be His witnesses, and to build each other up in every aspect and circumstance of life.
We believe that Christians should rejoice in their personal freedom as found in Jesus Christ. Such a realisation is disciplined by the requirements of God in His word, the desire not to grieve the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 4:30) and our responsibility to love and serve each other (Galations 5: 1-13).
We believe in a stewardship of ministry, which is mutual in responsibility and creative in its individual expression.
